Donate Now

Thanks to this year’s donors, we have already assisted many folks who needed help with their current bills. While LCEF applies for grants that may assist us with our efforts, we also rely on financial support from local businesses, individuals and churches. Any amount can help us to continue “touching lives in crisis”. Click on the DONATE NOW button to make an online donation or READ MORE for additional information.

LOUISA COMMUNITY EMERGENCY FUND THANKS …

Our community partners, including Louisa Resource Council, Goshen Baptist Association, Louisa Dept. of Human Services, Monticello Area Community Action Agency, Adult Community Education, and the Louisa office of Virginia Cooperative Extension. These organizations provide other important services to our clients.

Through the Hard Times, We’re Here to Help

BillsSince we began accepting requests for assistance in November 2015, we have helped 107 families in crisis. Through local community support with donations and grants, we have provided over $20,000 in financial support. We are also partnering with the Virginia Extension Service to conduct family budgeting classes for some of our clients. Other partnerships allow us to refer those who need services that we don’t provide. And our administrative expenses are very low, less than 3% of our total income!
